
The QMP6990 is a digital barometric pressure sensor specifically designed for applications requiring high-precision pressure measurement, such as aircraft altitude control and portable navigation devices. It measures 2.0 × 2.0 × 0.95 mm³ in size.
This digital barometric pressure sensor is based on the piezoresistive sensing principle and offers long-term stability and EMC robustness. The QMP6990 can accurately detect absolute atmospheric pressure with a measurement range from 300 to 1250 hPa, which theoretically covers the main altitude range on the Earth’s surface. Under ideal steady-state conditions and with specific data output modes, the sensor can achieve an altitude resolution within 5 cm.
